Ice and Moonlight Gala

A wonderful adventure of magic and fantasy awaits you this December at the Manhattan, Ks Country Club where Author Kristina Wildes is hosting a grand gala to celebrate the release of the first installment of her book series, Forged In Blood! Join like minded peers within this event as you dine on exquisite cuisine, dance and make merry among the ambient decorations, or even participate in the silent auction of various goods and services.  

Forged In Blood is a stimulating whirlwind of exciting experience which follows a young woman , Verena, as she navigates her newfound life as a High Fae Princess. From an unappealing and abusive childhood she is quickly thrust into a lifestyle of lavish fantasy, fraught with peril and erotic encounters with her two mates, soul ties forged by the Goddess herself. A story fully packed with thrilling escapades, pleasurable antics, and a dangerous crusade by the Mordinians who seek to capture Verena and use her to fulfill their quest of changing their realms forever.  This is a story that you absolutely will not want to miss!

The gala itself is designed to fully immerse the audience within the wonder found in the story of Forged in Blood. There are two tiers of admission tailored to your desired experience.  General admission brings you access to all areas of the event, while VIP access comes with a few perks such as; early access inside as well as to the silent auction, a several course meal, two free bar tickets, and a goody bag! Whatever tier you select you are guaranteed to spend the evening in awe.  

All proceeds from the silent auction will be donated to the Manhattan Public Library, to encourage literary adventure and access to all. Mrs. Wildes is self-publishing her series and believes that by donating all proceeds to the library this will benefit not only readers but independent authors as well, battling the scourge of expensive publishing houses and agencies that prey upon small or new authors and leave them unmotivated to produce valuable and well written stories.  Additionally she believes that reading is a vital part of any person’s development, opening their minds to an escape from the perils and disappointments of reality, instilling hope and a sense of optimism and even wonder within not only young minds but in those of avid readers as well. 

The Forged In Blood Gala is a formal black-tie event, yet Mrs. Wildes encourages you to wear something that you would not ordinarily wear to a black-tie event!  Make it fun, while maintaining the formality. Imagine you are dancing within the ballroom of one of Verena’s mates, the seductive and eloquent demon prince Kieran.  It is a fantasy ball after all!
